I find all staff in this store polite, helpful and knowledgeable but Merna in floral must be in charge of all those good qualities. I bought a money tree for my Chinese neighbour who is celebrating new years. Merna was pleasant, very helpful and knowledgeable to the extreme for me.
Yet another reason as to why this Sobeys is my fav grocery store.

They change the expiry dates on products, I purchased black Dimond cheese, the expiry date is dec 16 2024, when I try to separate the slices they brake in small peaces taste like is already expired years ago. and we wonder why we getting sick all the time. if something taste bad take it back. don't let them profit !!

This is the only store that I will buy my produce at. Produce “Mike” is always there and is always smiling. They should have him train every employee because he is so knowledgeable and friendly. He will even help me find other items in the store outside of the produce area.

By far the biggest price gouging place to buy groceries in London.

Knew the place was going to be wild high prices as the parking lot was completely empty.

They must presume everyone bought a house in the 1980's and has a pile of equity to afford the idiotic prices of this place.

I'm writing this review standing in the checkout because the cashier is unbelievably slow, possibly the worst employee at any checkout I have ever encountered.

I love this store. It's easy to get in and out. They have fabulous specials on the items that I like. Lacteeze milk is the lowest price compared to other stores.

I love the fresh food but I don’t like the self checkout. This is the second time something went wrong. If these machines are so sensitive then they should not be available to use. We are doing you a favour by using them, then make them work properly. From now on I will go to a cashier.
This silly machine was so sensitive when I tried to move a bag.

I had a fantastic experience with the new Smart Cart at Sobys Extra. I do not consider myself a "Tech Guru" by any means and I was able to follow the simple tutorials on the screen to check my items into the cart as I was strolling through the isles. This I still in the preliminary stage of the roll out, so some unique items my not be exactly weight calibrated to the cart. This is not an issue at all as a friendly staff member just needs to do a quick audit on your cart on your way out and Uncle Bob. I recommend you try this for yourself and I promise you will not be disappointed with the experience. Hooray for no more lines!
